friendlyfallenfoe asked: What are five things that you hate about yourself OR five things that you hate about society.
OOH I hate a lot about society, great question! Get ready for a novel..
I hate how people can never seem to just enjoy life. Americans have become so greedy and selfish. They always have to have something bigger, better and faster. The moment we achieve something, we are already planning in our head how to get the next something. In my opinion, life is too short for that, but I guess whoever dies with the most toys wins, right?
I hate how people have become completely obsessed with celebrities. At my old job I worked with older women and all they would talk about at work was what celebrity was getting a divorce or who had gotten a nose job. REALLY, WHO CARES? Tell me about something that should actually matter to you or I should care about, like oh I don’t know, your actual life? Oh and don’t even get me started on Dancing With the Stars. Literally the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. Get lives people.
I hate our government! I believe we need to get back to a small, limited national government with more power at the state level. It also pisses me off to no end that major issues in debate include gay marriage and abortion. I mean, I am 100% pro-life, but I don’t think people should be basing their vote for President off of whether or not two dudes can get married. That should be decided on a state level and the national government should be more focused on important things like ending the Federal Reserve which is printing money that we DON’T ACTUALLY HAVE, bringing our troops home and ENDING THE WAR ON DRUGS WHICH IS LITERALLY THE DUMBEST THING EVER. :) (RON PAUL 2012)
I also really can’t stand girls that are entirely dependent on having a boyfriend and vice versa. Live your own damn life. I’m so sick of seeing people lose their own identity when they get into a relationship. Not saying boyfriends aren’t cool or anything…
Lastly, I don’t necessarily hate, but I don’t like organized religion. Don’t get it twisted though, I am a Christian and love Jesus with all my heart. I just feel like my relationship with the Lord is more of an intimate, spiritual relationship rather than a religious one. I believe that before I started attending a non denominational church, my relationship with Jesus was not growing the way it should have been aaand now that I’ve got it all figured out, me n Jesus are tight ;) yeah!
